Bottega&Artisan Ignites Creativity at ISI Yogyakarta: Exploring the Art of Material and Design
Yogyakarta, September 17, 2025
The classroom of Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta’s Interior Design Program transformed into a space of inspiration and exploration as Bottega&Artisan visited to share insights on how modern materials can elevate design expression in today’s creative world.
As part of the Bottega&Artisan Campus Roadshow 2025, the session offered an engaging learning experience that opened students’ perspectives on material innovation, design philosophy, and sustainability in interior architecture.
The Bottega&Artisan team introduced key collections such as Duraslab Tiles and Duralite Surfaces, renowned for their strength, design versatility, and refined beauty. Students also discovered the innovation behind sintered stone, a next-generation material that balances aesthetics with superior durability and eco-conscious design.
The hands-on experience became the highlight of the day—students interacted directly with material samples, discussing their textures, tones, and how each could transform spatial concepts into meaningful and functional art.
“Design is not just about form, it’s about how every material tells a story,” said a Bottega&Artisan representative. “Through this visit, we aim to spark curiosity and encourage students to keep experimenting, exploring, and finding their own design voice.”
This visit underscored Bottega&Artisan’s ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration between academia and the design industry—empowering the next generation of Indonesian designers to innovate, create, and shine on the global stage.
