Meaningful Art Exhibition 'Hic et Nunc': Art in Full Presence and Awareness

In Latin, 'Hic et Nunc' means to 'Here and Now.' This concept embodies complete awareness of the present moment and our surroundings. Living life mindfully, often referred to as 'mindfulness,' means being fully present and capturing the essence of every moment.

This is the inspiration behind 'Jago Tarung,' a collaboration of artists from Yogyakarta that brings forth a month-long art exhibition. The exhibition takes place from September 4th to November 4th, 2023, at Bottega Artisan in Alam Sutera.

The exhibition features 27 paintings created by nine talented artists. They embrace various aesthetic approaches, from abstract, realist, and impressionist paintings to graphic art and sculptures. Their creative process demands extraordinary precision, where they engage all their senses and emotions, reflecting sensations both within and outside their bodies. Their focus on each step leads to continuous discoveries, with diverse approaches to materials and techniques, making each artwork truly unique.
